OVERVIEW
CONFIDENTIAL AT THIS TIME
THE ROLE
Direct the marketing activities with a budget under $1MM. Supervise
a small team of professionals including brochure production, web design,
and support personnel.
Planning, preparing and monitoring departmental budget expenditures
including brochure budget and related activities. And, most importantly,
recommending and implementing a range of results-driven marketing programs.
EDUCATION
The preferred candidate will hold a Bachelor's Degree (BA or BS) from
a four year college or university; or 5-10 years of related experience
and/or training; or equivalent of education and experience.
EXPERIENCE PREFERRED
• Working in a similar position within the travel industry or
related industries.
• MUST BE Results-driven individual, with a proven ability to
achieve improvements in a company's relationship marketing approach.
• Minimum of 7+ years experience in marketing.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to coordinate high level of activities under a variety
of conditions and constraints.
• Background should be with products and services with a high
out-of pocket cost, which require considered decision-making on the
part of the customer.
• MUST have Direct Response, Direct Mail – Marketing/Advertising
experience.
• Need to be extremely flexible.
• Business acumen (business knowledge, competitor awareness, organization
strategies)

• Eight (8) hours or more a day of sitting; walking; standing; bending;
answering the telephone; entering data into the computer; retrieving data
from the computer or analyzing data from reports.
• This position may require overnight travel up to 10% (including
travel by car and by airplane).
• Must have a valid driver's license and willingness to fly on an
airplane.
